We are looking for a Systems Developer with strong transcoding skills.
You will plan and develop an existing transcoder integrated in an advanced media platform for VOD and live streaming services. Your role is an important part of the development team as well as your contribution to the media platform.
Need-to-have skills:
- C++ and Object Oriented Programming
- Audio/video transcoding expertise
- Open source libraries – FFmpeg, Libav, DASH
- Codecs
- Video containers
Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience in video streaming protocols – Wowza, Adobe FMIS, HLS, Silverlight
- OpenGL and digital media knowledge
- Linux environments
- Experience with storage systems and clustered networks
The selected candidate will receive all required technical training. Work location will be on customer’s site in Stockholm, Sweden. Working at BiDirection is all about media and technology, and providing an excellent consulting service.
General qualification requirements:
